How to Translate Audio Online with AI

What you need before you start

• An audio file in MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, or OGG format (up to 100 MB)
• Knowledge of the source language (or select auto-detect)
• The target language you want the translation in

Step 1 — Upload your audio file

Go to the AI Audio Translator tool. Drag your audio file into the upload area, or click to browse your files. You can also paste a public URL for audio hosted online (podcast RSS links, direct MP3 URLs, etc.).

Step 2 — Choose source and target language

Select the language spoken in the recording. If you're not sure, leave it on Auto detect — the AI will identify the spoken language automatically. Then pick the language you want the translation delivered in.

Step 3 — Start the translation

Click Start Translation. The AI will transcribe the speech to text first, then translate the transcript into your chosen language. For short clips this takes under a minute; longer recordings may take a few minutes.

Step 4 — Review and download

Once complete, you'll see both the original transcript and the translated text side by side. You can copy either version, or optionally enable voice dubbing to generate spoken translated audio.

Tips for best results

• Use audio with minimal background noise for higher transcript accuracy.
• Recordings with a single speaker are easier to transcribe than multi-speaker panels.
• For interviews or podcasts, trim silence at the start to reduce processing time.
• If accuracy matters (legal, medical), always review the AI output before publishing.
